Outline:
The story is as confusing as ever. Even listening to it last year, and recognising bits of the script again this time (how much do they ad-lib I cannot be sure) the whole event follows some strange and rather violent plot.
The actors (they must be called actors since I cannot find a better way to describe them!) engaged with those at the font of the pub as well as the drivers who dared to drive past.
It was all over in just 15 minutes and, having stayed to moisten their throats with some good Badger Ale, the Mummers were off to their next venue.
If you missed them this year you will have to wait until next Boxing day when they will be returning to entertain us again.
