November "Newsletter"

Firstly we are very pleased with the turn out every month since starting this new M.G. Venue and would appreciate it if any of you could send us pictures of your M.Gs with some details about it to put on our webpage on the pubs website, as with the darker evenings it will not be possible to take photos at the meets.

Please look on the website to see the cars and details from the meetings. Your car might be featured on there in the coming few months. Please send your pictures and details to Trevjh@ntlworld.com.

We are looking forward to the Christmas Dinner in December and have had a good response, so hopefully it will be an enjoyable evening for all. Please arrive about 7.00 for 7.30. Can We also ask You for your choice(s) from the MENU by the 28th November

The January meet will be on the 1st January at “The Chequers”. Roy the Landlord, said he would open for us if there was enough interest, but there will be no bar food available on this occasion. Please let us know if you will be interested in coming along, otherwise We will cancel the January meet, And will look forward to seeing you at the next meeting in February. You can contact Diane or Trev on 01252 811676 and leave a message on our answer phone if no one is around.

We once again, thanks to Roy and all of his staff, and of course the fabulous food, we had a very good meeting, with even more new members adding to our growing membership.

A 1946 M.G TC owned an maintained, since he purchased it in June 1966 by David Jones. It was Built in Abingdon-on-Thames, on the 29 October 1946,where it left the factory with black body work,(now mineral blue).
